Discovering pole dancing at 40, Jen found it not only bolstered her core strength—helping alleviate her back issues—but also reduced her overall pain and boosted her mood. Not a sporty person, she loves that pole is so fun that you don’t care that it is exercise and she quickly fell in love with pole dancing's fun and inclusive nature.

As co-owner of Wagga Pole Studio alongside her husband, Jeff, she enjoys engaging with students and reveling in the studio's vibrant community.

Jen, a certified yoga instructor since 2016, balances her pole training with yoga, appreciating how each practice enhances the other.

Jen approaches yoga with a playful and adaptable mindset, offering modifications to ensure each pose feels right for her students' needs.

She trained with Power Living Australia and Rainbow Yoga, infusing her classes at Wagga Pole with both challenge and gentleness.

Jeff

Co-owner and dedicated pole instructor since 2018, Jeff brings his rich background in coaching soccer to his teaching approach, emphasising gentle observation and timely feedback.

Beginning pole at 42, after a 35-year soccer career, he discovered this sport offered both the team spirit and the sustainability his body required.

Jeff is a favourite among those new to the sport, providing a supportive environment particularly for students who may feel anxious about being closely watched.

Whether donning his heels or straitening a lesson, Jeff's camaraderie and inclusive attitude ensure every student feels right at home.

Matilda

Matilda discovered her passion for pole dancing in late 2021, introduced through a family member's encouragement to attend a ‘Come Try’ session.

Since that exhilarating first experience, she's dedicatedly attended weekly classes, finding both joy and a unique form of self-expression in the art.

An enthusiastic cosplayer, Matilda delights in incorporating her love for character play into her routines.

She is excited to share the exhilarating sense of freedom and creativity she finds in pole dancing with her students.
